How about sending him a message saying he has a week to collect, then you will refund him and relist them?

Do you think it is a scam with him about to launch a complaint, or saying I have never posted them?
[/quote]

I think the rule says buyer can only launch a complaint within 45 days of payment, which will soon run out. In the meantime if you have chased him to pick it up through messaging within ebay and he did not respond, he can hardly turn around and tell ebay that you never posted.

I was once thinking of making a complaint re a dealer, and I was told send him a few emails via ebay this if a complaint is recieved they can check up and see that you have done your best trying to resolve the matter with the buyer. Best of luck.

Lots of people are unbelievably disorganised and can't actually run their own lives. It's probably because their mummies did everything for them. Mummy used to threaten when he didn't tidy his room so you need to do the same.

email him and say you will start charging for storage of them and the first charge will be how much they are worth so if he wants he can just give them back to you as payment.

ELL I am glad I don't owe you anything...

This, just sit & wait.

He can't scam you, or complain, as you've made every effort to contact him. You've also been paid which is half the battle with selling on fleabay!

I'd just stick them in the loft/shed/somewhere at work and then review it after 6 months. Maybe the buyer's had a personal tragedy or something.
Or, maybe he bought on impulse, with more money than sense, and now can be bothered to collect.

Have you checked his ebay activity to see if he's been actively buying or selling in the last couple of months?

I can understand maggot's irritation; it really bugs me when I make a big effort to sell, pack and despatch an item and then the buyer can't even be bothered to give me feedback. I end up contacting them to ask for feedback. Grrrrr!

I recently bought some tri bars at a reasonable price off ebay....after paying, I didn't hear a dicky bird for 2 weeks and started to send a few more emails, saying I would take action etc. I was one day away from launching a complaint when I got an apologetic email through saying how he had come off his road bike and ended up in hospital for the best part of 2 weeks, the bars arrived shortly after. Oops

He's paid up so give him the benefit of the doubt, you have the money and the ski's so certainly appear to have the upper hand in any disputes that may arise.

i have the same sold some old bike wheels on e bay , guy claimed he couldnt get to us on 2 occasions , so threatened him with a report to ebay unless he paid which he did straight away , and nearly 3 months later no contact , so might just e mail him and give him option of collecting them or i will re sell to somebody else and see if he squeals
