I was looking at that too, 36 miles for me, or 40 doing some A44 avoidance.

Call me a pansy but I don't feel like 88+80 miles but I may ride up from Hay, nice back road route over painscastle (maybe there is a hill there?) or somewhere similar.

Never been thru painscastle is it nice ?

Same as any back road really, I don't recall this area very well - but - looking on charts its very lumpy (3000ft in 30 miles).

I have a feeling it will only be the 3 of us. But 3 s a good number for this sort of ride.

Thinking of moving this back a week to the 22nd as peeps seem to be busy on the original date.
