On a serious note, use the wording "No Election Material to be posted". That way you avoid having a complaint made against you as does the person whose material isn't delivered to your address. That last part means that you'll not be asked, by your electoral services, why you reused one persons material should a complaint be made.
That's pretty much what we have done. "No Election Pamphlets to be posted" is on our letterbox. I haven't added that we put them directly into the recycle bin.

My MP is Nick Clegg, Sheffield Hallam. There are a few LibDem posters around and a few Labour ones too. They reckon it's going to be tight between these two parties in Hallam...

I now keep seeing the signs for Vote Labour / Conservative / Liberal Democrat / UKIP or whoever in peoples front gardens and I keep wanting to print out a large number of signs to hang directly beneath them with one simple word on it - "NO"
