Following concerns about the way the Charity vote was conducted, how confident can we be about the proper conduct of the elections to Council, seeing as the ballot papers are returned not to the ERS this time but direct to National Office? I realise it's probably not practical to demand extensive independent scrutiny of what might seem a relatively minor election, but I can't help observing that (in Wales at least) the choice of candidates is between a known opponent of the Charity plans with a long CTC history and a chap who seems to have appeared out of nowhere with an agenda more compatible with the Charity plans...

Traditionally, in Wales, the results of elections are determined in the lodge.
