Shouldn't you have checked reviews before ordering one...?

I have. But not reviews from this site. Hence the two that have them I'd appreciate any thoughts. Possibly slightly more helpful replies than yours

So, people on CycleChat now give you damning reviews saying that it is terrible, do not under any circumstances buy one... how would that possibly be helpful?

Reviews good and bad are always useful. Seeing as I frequent this site and a couple have purchased the pump I've ordered I thought I'd get their opinion. If that's OK.

You've never bought something, found out someone else has said item and asked what they think?

For home use, sometime last year Ibought the Lidl/Aldi track pump at £7.99. Being massive, it works about 10 to 15 times the speed of my electric pump . So that never gets used.

Seeing as I now take my own bike to Mallorca etc and I've been taking my now defunct track pump I thought I'd get a cheap electric pump as that's way smaller and more convenient to pack into bike box. Otherwise I'd just buy another track pump which I might do still depending on how the electric goes

The Topeak 'pocket rocket' is £14 and about 100 grams.

And perfect for the job.

Folks. I appreciate the input but I have a mini pump I carry on bike. I can always get another track pump if I want as they are cheap as chips. I was just looking for thoughts on the Cyclami electric pump I've ordered.

I've already commented after recommending it in the first place... but still using mine, had it almost a year, and still think it is great. It's been my 'track pump' on many trips, taken on hundreds of rides in a saddlebag that's got soaked many times, pumped up tyres on the road, pumped up tyres at home. Really can't fault it.

Excellent thanks. That's what I'm looking for.
