Yup. I am self employed. I've automated as much of it as possible, thus giving me time to go out on my bike this afternoon. My clients mainly want my knowledge and experience, thankfully something that isn't easy to get out of a machine so hopefully I'll be gainfully employed a while longer
A lot of people say "the robots will take over my job, what will happen then?" But robots are already building our cars. It's easy for me to say but perhaps not easy to do: people just move on to other jobs, or they go on the dole. My job is getting automated but there are three things in my favour:
1. I get to automate the job
2. It's never automatic enough because something new always needs to be automated
3. I learn new skills to automate things.

However, I'm employed and while it has some great advantages, i sure don't get time off work to rise my bike - in a previous life i did have that luxury but never appreciated enough to get out there and ride (instead, i used to watch a whole bunch of movies).

You have a good answer. Nice one!
