Slightly off tangent
I went for a ride yesterday with the plan to try keep my power in Zone 2 so lots of changing gear to stop going too high and I managed do this. So I was well pleased with all this modern technology.
However on checking the apps on my phone Wahoo and Strava I couldn’t find any heart rate data. Checked my head unit nothing on there either, so I’m thinking maybe all this tech is a bit crap any how.
Checked my chest strap and it was bone dry.
It appears I‘d forgotten to wear it.😳

Ive hired it (both Sram and Di2 a few times. I think I preferred SRAM as it was more intuitive but on a hire bike the battery was fecked and it needed charging every 2nd day (friends get months out of it). Ive never liked any Di2 equipped bikes tha buttons have been too close together and its been slow, I prefer my mechanical DA. When I eventually upgrade I might go electronic but I prefer getting up and just riding rather than having to worry about charge, so I am in no rush to.

A few I ride with don’t like worrying about charge either.

Unfortunately they do have Electronic gears. So inevitably somewhere in the ride we have issues, lose the ability to change gear; or have to divert off route to find ‘sender’ batteries…….

The first world problem I have, is deciding if the top button changes up a gear or moves the chain up the cassette therefore changing down a gear, at the moment the top button moves chain up cassette, bottom button moves it down, I may experiment with top button changes up a gear and bottom button changes down.
How have you set yours ?

Pretty sure that's a first world problem.
