After watching the CADE media video about Elves the Chinese bike manufacturers. I thought I would give it a go (CADE is not legaly or morally responsible BTW). Its a completely online bespoke experience, so having established that the registered office is a bungalow in Southhampton, I started an email conversation with a guy who is apparently on a island in the south pacific .:hyper: I ended up paying a deposit (using a credit card). A week on I got a notification of an unpaid invoice (from a company in Blackpool). I questioned this and was told its all fine - just ignore it. I have had the same notice twice more.

I not really worried about the bike - It seems like a respectable company. Or the money - Lenders in the UK take responciblity. I'm just bugged about the invoices. Thought Zero was suposed to be simple. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes. It’s an automation issue. The problem is that they haven’t allocated the cash to your account so it is showing as unpaid and it’s sending out automated emails/chasers.

Zero invoicing can be glitchy. Lots of people get those weird unpaid notices even after paying. It's a known headache. Just keep your payment confirmation safe and ignore the automated emails like they said. You're covered by your credit card anyway.
