I'm now imagining 'Straight Outta Compton' as one long bleeeeeeeeeeeeep.
Which will improve it no end IMHO.

Always amuses me...

Karn Evil 9 was not played for the lyrics concerning "seven virgins and a mule", car bomb and other dodgy references

Yet a few years later was a theme tune for a family game show

And used as a sig line on a popular cycling forum!!
I always read it as “white nigger” - that it was an insult used against Irish immigrants to the UK.
More specifically it was used by British soldiers about Irish people during the troubles.

Have a listen to Nina Gordon's acoustic folk cover version- it's strangely delightful

I'll try that.
I'm strangely attracted to 'Straight Out Of Surrey' by Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, which is rather splendid.

hahahaha, considering he wouldn't allow an album called "Queen Elvis" to be released on his label he deserves all he gets. he was once good... a very long time ago.

In the same vein as the Green Wogs in 'White Noise' by SLF.
