Turning off in settings worked fine, don't see the need for it.

As a student I once nearly bought and old hand cranked air raid siren I saw at a market, was either the biggest regret or best decision I've ever made lol

Nothing on either of my mobiles, although one is 3G so didn't expect anything on that. The other is 4G but Android 5, so that probably explains it.

Mine went off, there was no mobile signal as usual but it connected via the Wi-Fi. Was a bit underwhelming.

Ours went off at different times, mine Samsung just a text message, wife's Rednote also got a voice warning maybe 5 minutes later

I was just in Home Bargains buying some tat when everyone's phone started ringing out.. They didn't all happen simultaneously though.It took around five minutes before the noises stopped
