A great performance...got up early to watch it and sent a congratulations message to her brother once it was a more sociable hour.

It was clearly not going to be gold when Armstrong hit that timecheck but to hold out against the the quality of the final riders was awesome. Just a shame we didn't get to see much of the downhill section.
I wonder now if she will get more attention than before and not just be "that teammate of Nicole Cooke" because she deserves it after the last 12 months.

Hopefully she'll be back in Norwich at some point to show off her medal.

Nothing against the young gel but it was a bit too early to get ear-ache. I'm sure she'll calm down later.
