She's so self-conscious in that picture, you know when someone's aware they're being photographed and try to look natural and poised but succeed only in looking like they've suffered a recent head injury?

In that picture she just looks like an arrogant twat.IMHO

Would a passenger in a car be classified as a witness to an accident the car was involved in? Not being arguementative, just asking?

Both sides of the story contradicted each other and without an independent witness there is no way to say who is at fault. To my knowledge she didn't admit guilt to the collision, just to failing to stop and and failing to report.

For me the story was really about the failing to stop and failing to report. All too often in vastly more serious cases we hear of no prosecution for these. I impressed any action was taken at all.

All the other baggage - the hate, the losing her job and various other things I think the world can do without.

She's 21, probably been driving more than a year, so no ban, I don't think. her insurance renewal will be interesting.
