Emma Who?
I could be wrong, but I think it's 12 points, accumulated in a three year period, from that date of the first endorsable offence.12 points or more was an automatic ban, or so I thought.
She's pretty and blonde and getting money pressed into her avaricious hands by ITV. Summat wrong here.
Wow, I am really interested as to where this apparent myth about the limit being 12 has come from. Do the points just keep on adding up because I thought you would have a driving ban at 12 points? Or do you get a ban, get a license again, and then add another 12 ontop of that? And then keep on going up to 48 or something?Nope - the record is 42 points and still driving, 8 people with more than 30 points and almost 8,000 with more than 12 points

Obviously any points on your license is bad but how can you manage to get 42 and keep driving?
Awwwwww, didums. If you can manage to accumulate 42 points then I think excessive hardship should be put up with. Even if you are disabled and rely on a car to get about, there is no excuse for driving that badly. If the court can be persuaded that being banned would cause excessive hardship.
Most of those were probably people who would've lost their job if they lost their licence. When someone has a family/children to support the court has to consider that, although to be quite frank, 42 points is a bit ridiculous, and they should've changed their driving habits before they got to 12 points. Sometimes I wonder how they manage to pay the insurance with 42 points, but maybe it's a company vehicle, or they're just very well off. Occasionally you get a premiership footballer (who can well afford to pay a chauffeur) trying to hang onto their licence after a string of convictions. Ahhhh, yes, here's one.Awwwwww, didums. If you rely on the car for work, then tough. Any employer who see's 42 points on the record will not employ you. Even if the job doesnt involve driving.
Public transport is there for a reason. 42 points in my book is deemed as a sure hazard to other road users.
The Welsh nation.

Watch out @Matthew_T as the BBC will be round soon asking for interviews on the matter since you are now the face, voice and mind of the nations cyclists
Well if she does I'm sure we'll hear about it from her PR people...
No fee according to Lorainne. She had her solicitor with her again. Her parents must be very rich. Still no admission that she was wrong to not stop or report it.£1200 is rumoured to be the Daybreak fee. She's just about broken even.
Loved that one. The courts effectively saying it was OK for him to drive while on the phone !Here's one about a football manager, he couldn't use a chauffeur because he needed to keep his telephone conversations private.
She's 22, much too old for him (alledgedlyYes, where's Max Clifford when she needs him?
