I wish they had told us about this end of the world business a bit earlier. Either we could have cracked on and got the father in law's new flat decorated, or we could have just not bothered to do it at all. As it is, we will go to meet our maker knowing that the ceilings and walls were all done, but the glossing hadn't been started......
