There's the snag you see, you can't just have "cycling." You can have cycling sport, cycling transport or mountain biking so it's either log all your miles as one agreed category or have it as all sports.
The assumption was that the bulk of miles will be amassed through cycling, as it would be difficult to tot up too much mileage running, canoeing etc. Also, for me personally, it's about trying to get fit and a bit of fun so if I do do a lengthy walk, I won't feel bad uploading it (although 9 times out of 10 I don't bother)
Totally agree with the ban on spinning or turbo miles. Although it should probably have it's own merit award for putting up with the mind numbing boredom, the Endo challenges only apply to blood, sweat & tears ground out on the roads (or trails)
