Well done Germany and lets not bloody go on about the "Disallowed" goal as I reckon we would have still lost.

Absolutely. However it's not as if England haven't gone on about the last goal line controversy for over 40 years now, so I am not hopeful!

Gutted. I've been optimistic throughout the whole tourney, as I always am. But it's been a disappointing campaign. We have some cracking payers but they have simply never connected, the 'Golden Generation' need to make way for a younger squad.

As for the Lampard goal, it's a ****ing disgrace. I would say this whatever side was on the unfortunate end, it's time for technology to be utalised for the modern game. Cricket, Rugby and Tennis are all way ahead.

Please can nobody revel in the defeat, as their pessimistic predictions were proven to be correct? All 4 of the goals we conceded were shocking, they were all our fault.

Im praising Germany as well...I quite enjoyed the match strangely enough...but I never fooled myself we were good enough.
Germany lost to Serbia for ****s sake, it's not about 'fooling' yourself, it's about having some hope.

Englands worst defeat in World Cup history and I was privileged enough to watch it.

Well done Germany and lets not bloody go on about the "Disallowed" goal as I reckon we would have still lost anyway.

I think that's silly. A programme aired only today had FIFA trumpeting on about Sepp Blatter and his views through news media on any technology whatsoever. It's a much bigger issue than just England.

This should have been started 2 or 3 years ago. Germany did - look at the difference. England seemed just to be put out that they didn't qualify for Euro 2008 'by right', and that the players they had were good enough anyway. They weren't then and they still aren't.

The individual players are good enough, when they come together it just doesn't click.

No but I was bracing myself for disappointment after being so gutted in 1990 so im not reveling in my prediction. It was more of a safety valve to prepare for disappointment.

Germany had a player sent off and never got over it.

Looks like we wont get over it either.
