Or maybe they have an equivalent of George Davis.
We is on the same wave length - George Davis was on my mind as well

234 for 7 - I didnt get up early to watch - amazed that England are still batting and with an outside chance of saving the follow on

Well I'd suggest that the chances of saving this test are very small indeed so I'm really looking for positives in the play over the next couple of days to take into the subsequent tests

We know that the England seamers are a quality outfit so I want to see the spinners really push the Indian batsmen. Perhaps most importantly I want to see Hameed, Duckett and Ali get big scores when they bat to take some confidence into the next test

Realistically what do we think the target will be? I'm guessing India will declare during the afternoon session tomorrow, leaving a target of about 400. Unchaseable, but I'm looking for performances

India currently 28-2 after two quick wickets for Broad to remove the openers.

Hmmm, England will struggle to get 350, IMO, but India (Ashwin) should be able to clean England up in 4-5 sessions.

Still 20+ overs remaining today, so anything can happen, I suppose.

At 50 for 3 the game will take some rescuing. But I'll take consolation from the general resilience of the England team which will help for the rest of the tour. It wasn't always thus.

Enjoy the gloating!

BTW, this is the 'England v India 1st Test' thread, just to be fakkin' pedantic. ;)
Yeh I know, I am well used to you farkers always putting England first. Even when it's wrong. It's India (home team) v England (away team), unless you are adopting the yank approach...
