The purchase of the wheels has been agreed by swmbo as long as I buy her a bottle of wine out of it ........................ fine by me I can cope with that..... I think she thought about suggesting another use for it ...... but saw sense just in time

I'd love to make money from my writing....but I can't imagine it replacing the 'day' job but as I have said I've had a couple of short plays produced in the past and the feeling of seeing actors perform your work is indescribable and for them to shake your hand afterwards saying they loved performing it is fantastic ( I did wonder if I could shout diva style "do you know who I am?" at the interval to get served quicker at the bar:laugh:) but cold hard cash is much better ^_^

Back in 1998 I created an educational web site that won the Microsoft Road Ahead Prize for the UK. I was flown out to Lisbon to collect the £10,000 cheque from Bill Gates in person at Expo 98.

My school's management team tried to annex the money to spend it as it saw fit after electing themselves to membership of the creative team. They subsequently entered me for every subsequent educational web site competition failing to acknowledge that I'd put four month's worth of every available bit of free time into creating debugging and honing a web site that worked on every PC based graphical browser and similar amounts of time would be required for success in the other competitions. I withdrew my creative labour and didn't create another web site for twelve years. I was not popular.

Maybe you should have been targeting publications that don't mind words being misused.

Joking aside, congratulations on your commission.
Well spotted I was wondering who would be the first to notice:whistle: I did of course mean 'eluded me'.......... in my defence I should have been concentrating on the 'day' job rather than being smug on CC

Can't fault you there Vernon, people think something is easy when they when they watch someone talented do it and think they can take you for granted......
