The problem [with society] is that every is conditioned to judge everyone by [examples only] driving cars of a higher cost, houses with double garages, clothes with brand labels, etc. Why can't we just look past what anyone drives, where they live, what their job is or what they dress and just focus in what is the problem?

The driver is disrespecting the purpose of the cycle lane/double yellows BUT I'm sure we've all done stupid things like that just because we thought we wouldn't be long/cause a nuisance/be caught out. I'll await the high and mighty to tell me I'm wrong :|

Guess you have options... 1) moan on an internet forum where you'll likely get a lot agreeing with you and fuelling your desire to have him burn in hell for his transgression 2) report him to an organisation of choice who will likely just blink and ask you to fill in a form 3) educate the person yourself. Having written all those I believe you've taken the most useful course of action
I don't think I've ever judged anyone by the rules you describe.

The last time I saw a thread like this was of an Audi driver parked in two parking bays. The very next day I saw a Chevrolet (don't know the model, but formerly was a Daewoo matiz) parked in two parking bays. Would have taken a photo to show you guys but wasn't too bothered.

Id rather be stuck behind a BMW driver rather than someone in, say, a Micra, who keeps letting everyone out in front of them. And takes too long to get out at junctions.

I've also seen drivers of numerous car brands, both prestige models and basic, park on double yellows, single yellows, on or off the kerb, near junctions and so on, pretty much where they are not supposed to.park.

Drivers of prestigious cars just get noticed a lot more.

+1 to both.

I've often seen cars parked here at peak time, causing jams back onto the M4, because otherwise they would have to go a mile out of their way and spend 10 minutes to get milk or bread or whatever/ But it's ok, they put on their emergency lights, so those people lucky enough to pass them will know that .... sorry, I have no idea what those lights mean when you have chosen to park your car in a traffic lane at peak hour.

But it doesn't seem to have anything to do with marque of the car, or the nature of the traffic they are blocking. Toyotas as much as Mercs, and mechanically propelled vehicles as often as anything else.

Talking of emergency lights (I think you mean the hazzard flashers), it's highly annoying when bus drivers use hazzard flashers when they are pulled over at the bus stop. If you have two buses stopped one after the other, then the bus in front, if using it's hazzard flasheres and since you cant see the left side indicator, you only see the right side flashing so I keep thinking they're about to pull out.

Unlike today when I had just walked up a side street & was waiting to cross the main road as there was a cyclist coming, he then without warning or indication turned down the side street I had just walked up, Ignorant Gareth, should I now tar all cyclists with the same brush?

Of course you should, it would be unfair otherwise.

Unfortunately, the car driving majority tar all cyclists with a single brush when they see two wheeled naughtiness. Therefore, its only sporting and fair that us cyclists return the favour.

No, we don't all park obstructively and a big part of the problem is pilchards trying to normalise their misbehaviour which can mislead others into thinking everyone does it, so it's OK if they fark up the roads too.

I'd bunny hop onto the bonnet and continue my journey across the car.
I've actually watched a mate do that albeit not a parked car but on someone who pulled into the kerb to stop us undertaking, Phil just 'blipped' the throttle on his Suzuki TS250c and went over the guys roof.
When the guy got out to remonstrate with the rest of us (all on road bikes) we claimed not to know him.
