every cloud has a silver lining

mrs Silly dragged me down to Canary Wharf for a look around the shops which is not something I look forward to to be honest. However, looking at the shop map I spotted Bespoke Cycling.

Wow they have some stunning bikes and were a nice bunch of guys. Got a bit giddy over a gorgeous Moots Vamoots. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

If we go anywhere I always look to see if there's a bike shop we could accidentally be walking past. She usually let's me go in.

For every hour we spend in places like Debenhams I am allowed 10 seconds in a bike shop, I bank these throughout the year so that I get an hour or so in one go.

Gti Junior and Mrs Gti never miss the opportunity to remind me of the day we were driving down Leeds Road towards the centre of Harrogate. At that time GtiJ was going though a bit of an electronics craze and loved going into stores like Maplins.

GtiJ: "Ooh look Dad.... a Maplins!"

Self: "Uh? Oh. Yeah. Can't stop really."

Seconds later:

GtiJ: "Look Dad.... Specialized!"

Self: "Oooh, hold tight....." (Car does a screeching right turn scattering pedestrians and leaving tyre smoke floating in the air) "Well spotted.... and there's a cafe back there as well, just beside Maplins!"

With my luck the silver lining in my cloud would be a bolt of lighting.
