How is your fitness after 2 years off the bike and how far did you go?

I've been upping my mileage by 5 miles each time I went out. Been out 3 times now so did 15 miles today.

Studies have finished, and I'm getting close to having a full time job now.

Nope, all my kit seemed to fit me still (if not a little tight).

So I went out this morning for a ride to get me back into the game (Strava hunting). And every cyclist and ped I passed were really nice and said hello to me. It was a gloriously sunny day and I guess everyone was just be happy to have decent weather in winter.
After not touching a bike for 2 years, I suspected that everyone had become miserable, but its nice to see things havent changed.

even paedos, rapists and murderers can say hello - it's a good job the courts don't make character assessments on peoples ability to wave and say hello!
