She looks gorgeous in that second photo Noodley, her coat looks excellent. Do you spend a long time grooming her before you go?
Well done on her wins

, is there a cash prize to go with the rosettes and cat food?
Not really, she gets her nails clipped the week before, then a brush and groom with a velvet glove a few days before, clean her ears with baby wipes the night before and that's about it.
No cash prize. Ollie got down to the last 6 for best in show Oriental; the winner got a cheque for 30 quid.
I also entered my new wee boy, but the breeder had registered him 'incorrectly' (which is common as it takes a while for patterns and colours to develop sometimes with the more rare breeds, which he is). So, although he was judged, he could not be awarded any prizes. The judge, who I was told is a 'real stickler' took the time to find out who I was and speak to me. She explained why she had not been able to award anything due to "Wrong Pattern" and that she had gone as far as thinking about 'giving him the benefit of doubt' as he was so good, but couldn't as she had to stand by her decision and reputation.. She also went as far as consulting with other judges when she was 100% sure just in case...Anyway, I can re-register him in his 'proper' pattern. The judge said he was a lovely wee boy, a joy to judge and would have had awarded him best of breed had he been registered correctly. One of those things...
I'm starting to sound a bit like one of those women who wear headscarves and feed stray cats
