This is my bebe. Ironically my boyfriend brought him home because he wanted a lap cat and our other one's not very snuggly but he's a total mummy's boy.

The latest Noodley family addition, a Caramel shaded bi-colour Oriental, Jock:

Only 5 months old but a very big handsome boy.

Here is is with wee Angus and Ollie having a sleep next to my fat arse earlier tonight:

He is only 10 days older than wee Angus but is as large as Ollie who is an adult. Our other cat was out having a rake about the garden so missed the photo opportunity.

I've typed and deleted a post about this three times tonight but this one might stop.

One of our dogs got put down today after a good innings.
I say ours, he was part of the pack at my mum and dads which were mostly my responsibility when I lived at home.

He was a RSPCA headline grabbing cruelty case. Left outside to starve his way through the dose of worms he had; he wasn't far from deaths door when a neighbour grassed his previous owner up. I forget the punishment but it wasn't suitable or far reaching enough.

He wasn't used to folk being nice to him but had such an amazing temperament, he responded excellently to a bit of interaction and lots of food.

He was bonny in the way a really ugly dog can be, a FrankenRussell of a dog, a cut and shut with hairy chair legs covered with chopped horsetails. Someone asked what breed he was once. A "Tripehound".

It was his nature that made him so good, he was err . . . really good natured and game for some serious scrambling even if it meant picking him up and chucking him up the difficult stuff.

He'd been knocking on the door for a few months but couldn't get up this morning.

Cheerio mate, nice knowing you.

Ahh Longers, that's as uplifting as it is sad. Good on you and your parents for saving one of dog life's characters and long may you remember him.

Goodbye Tripehound. Sounds as if he had a worthy time after his trauma.

Yet another nice cat Noodley, your tan line looks a bit slack though

I have retired from audax. And now only go out when there is no weather.

Too many animals to look after.

In a bit of a panic at present, due to Ollie having escaped out the front door. She's never ventured further than the front step and round the house but went racing off after Rosie (who I know will come back) down the garden which is currently dug up for drainage.

Time for a torch and wellies....
