I have been searching for a monitor to go with my new computer, so at the end of January I ordered one from Buy Computer Store UK. A couple of days later, I received an email from them saying that they were unable to fill the order along with this:

As you can see by our feedback, we thrive off of customer satisfaction.

We would like to earn your business and make sure we do it right every time moving forward.

As an apology for not being able to fulfill your order, I would like to offer you a £30 discount towards any of the hundreds of listed items featured in our eBay shop.

I also needed a keyboard/mouse, so chose one from their site, for £40.06 and emailed them to initiate the discount.

Imagine my delight and surprise when I received this in the reply:

We have your new order in hand, as the total amount of the purchase is close to the £30 discount offer, I will arrange to issue you a full refund for this purchase

So full marks to Buy Computer Store - a company who put their money where their mouth is and really value their customers .

Excellent customer service.

Absolutely, I'm musing the new keytboard now and the moneynhas been refunded through PayPal.

We've exchanged friendly emails and In gave them the link to this thread too .

When my Dad bought our first laptop, the one we wanted ran out of stock so we were given a better laptop and free minidisk player for the same price which was pretty good. Can't remember the shop though.
