Good news!
Thanks to a last-minute flurry of helpers, the Luppitt tea stop is back on!

Hope you didn't get too soggy on the way homeI'm planning to cycle to Fivehead this year instead of drive like I did last year; hopefully the weather will be alright when I cycle home![]()
Thanks User482, and really good to meet you this time round!ok, it was a touch damp. But brilliantly organised.
Bertha won!I think this is now a race against Bertha to see who gets to Exmouth first.
Pleased to hear you (eventually!) got back safely and that the coat was of some use! No panic to return it.T'was good to see all the happy cyclists coming through. How did the tandem father & son duo do Baggy? Did you two pass them on your way to Luppit?
I got slightly lost on the way back to the Ilminster roundabout and spent a good 25 minutes/6 miles cycling round the country lanes getting soggy wet & wondering how to get back on the A358. I eventually got home about half eight. Thanks for the loan of your coat Baggy; it kept me nice and warm & reasonably dry. I'll have to arrange getting it back to you sometime soon
I'm looking forward to next year already; I've already got my soup serving ladle ready for action lol
Thanks for coming along! We were impressed and surprised that so many people turned out (and finished!) given the forecast. Glad that people still enjoyed it and stayed in such good spirits, it makes it an enjoyable experience for all the helpers. We have a had a lot of nice messages via email, twitter and Facebook and various fora which are much appreciated - and it's really good to know that people enjoyed the new two tunnels section.Good evening Baggy.
Just wanted to say thanks for organizing a cracking event.
I would hope that the site receives plenty of messages of thanks to all of the helpers who turned out to feed and water the riders.
The stop at cheddar with the kids guiding the riders into the hall, the fantastic soup at fivehead and the magnificent effort of setting up the tea station at the top of the windswept black hills? (Not local so may not be factually correct).
Will defefinately be back next year with one or two others from Milton Keynes in tow.
I havent ridden this before so can't comment on Bristol but the ride out through 2 tunnels was excellent.
