Exotic smell from passing motorist

Anyone else ever smelt weed when being passed by a motorist?

This particular car tonight barged past at 30 on a residential rat-run, parked cars both sides. The kind of road where as soon as you reach 30 you have to start slowing for the next junction (give way). Doubt even a hardcore primary position would have stopped the close pass and survival instinct kicked in.

So dodgy smells from single occupant and dodgy driving - related?

Once a van went past me and the smell was so strong my eyes were watering, then I passed though a place where the van had been waiting at lights up ahead of me, I could still smell where it had been.

I find this trend worrying, some people cant control a car when sober nevermind when stoned. At least perhaps it would calm the road rage haha.

I guess this is just like texting/phonecalls when driving - no enforcement - no deterant.

Smoking weed and driving isn't that bad,
It's the crack cocaine and heroin that mess your concentration up!

Yes. Not too often round here, but I often do when in Bristol or London.

Used to smell it on every commute when I worked in Brighton in the '80s

People shouldn't use it and drive, but I quite like the smell, unlike the tobacco smell which is even more common.

Almost daily in West London. Usually from builders' vans with three blokes on the bench seats.
