Expensive bikes

Thanks to Yehuda Moon yesterday, I came across the MOOTS make of bikes. Looking through thier site they have a commuter (aptly named the Comooter) which rings the tills here in the UK at 8,000 GBP.

That was the most expensive bike I thought I would see in a long while until I was reading the NY bike snob this morning and was linked to this old blog of his about an 80,000 EUR (~74,000 GBP) bike!!

Now I can understand that if you have the legs a good bike may improve your speed slightly but 80,000 for a bike that will be so heavy it'll slow you down
