I went and took some pictures as proof, then decided I was being a pedantic fool and deleted them lol.

I've taken an ebike on GWR and West Coast Intercity trains. Both have poor provision for ebikes, and mine's quite light as ebikes go. I don't expect LNER will be any better.
Thameslink are quite painless by comparison. Except that there's always someone in the folding seat / cycle storage area, despite having another 11 carriages to choose from...
