Remind me how many teams capable of winning a European cup he has managed? Spurs is the first 'big' club he has managed, if he isn't givin a shot at a big team its hardly surprising he hasn't won much.

In fairness to 'Arry he has always done well with what he has got, he cant do much worse then previous managers.

In all seriousness I think when there is clamour for a "stick-on" for a job ala Harry it doesn't necessarily mean they are the best candidate for the job - your point that he has only managed one "big" club kind of makes my point - how does this qualify him to manage Engerlandshire? Being able to joke and control the press only takes a manager so far, seems to me there is a distinct lack of english managers with top level european experience. Strikes me he should be given the job on a temporary basis to see how far he can take them in the summer, if he makes a mess he goes back to Spurs - no harm done.
