I've got a picture of my father and I decending from the Cairngorm centre at last weeks Cairngorm Classic that I'm getting framed. More to do with us doing the event together rather than fathers day - he normally just gets a card.

Really don't know what to get him.

Something that combines Partick Thistle FC with WW2 and caravans... Any suggestions?

There'll be something on the Bradford Exchange site I expect, although it may be the Elvis Presley Partick Thistle WW2 with extra caravans Lourdes devotional Pricess Diana memorial clock and combined cakestand. (With real hair and costume paste diamante tiara cat collar)

I was seriously embarrassed by the generosity shown to me last Saturday night at my son's wedding. He and his devastatingly beautiful fiance bought me a very expensive bottle of whisky (the wedding was in Glencoe) which I wasn't expecting anyway and there was also an envelope with a TdF form inside stating I'd be receiving a compilation DVD of the great event sometime this week! I was shocked at this, as was the father of the stunningly beautiful bride who also received the whisky plus a new cricket bat!

Still, I remembered to remind him of the imminent Father's Day requirement to make it a day to remember!

Well the chance to buy my dad a pressie has sadly long gone. Im on the receiving end these days, always grateful to get anything. But every year I mention to the wife that I would prefer not to receive chocolates and alcohol, and every year I get chocs and wine or port.
