Jelly has its place providing it's not in my beard.
A well made pork pie filling will not shrink enough during baking to allow excessive amounts of jelly to be added to fill the ensuing voids. A well made jelly, suitably seasoned can add to the pie experience.
Pies that drip and ooze jelly appeal to those who decry the £1
