Sorry, have never seen it.
I have never been one for watching much TV.
But I do know Allo Allo had that bloke in it who nearly died and the saucy waitress but can't recall their names.

'Zis Wun Sonlee' I think - I never saw it either. Don't want a TV these days, so unlikely to see the repeats...

'Claudine' was the name of the sexy waitress I think..can't be 100% ;)

Nooooo!!

Rene Artois (Gordon Kaye) was the bloke who nearly died and Yvette was the sexy waitress. I went to see Allo Allo the live stage show this year (I know) and the original Yvette was in it...still foxy at well over 50.

That's nice! - steal the booze and then complain about the quality.

I think it's fair. They're obviously not serious about attracting a better class of freeloader. As for me, I'll drink just about anything at a push...

Watch it, blue fella! As it happens, one of my accomplices in booze-lifting was an illustrious member of this forum who you might have thought had better taste than to be stealing lukewarm Pinot Grigio from a minor theatrical shindig. But there we are. What's this thread about, again? Oh yes. TV characters. Brenda Chenowith from Six Feet Under is one of the best of recent years. And another vote for Omar Little from The Wire. While there's an HBO theme I might as well add Susie Green from Curb Your Enthusiasm.
