a lot of good shouts so far... can only disagree with Streethawk, not one Tangerine Dreams' finest moments IMO

Who remembers Murphy's Mob? "you know it's gonna beeeee all right if we stick to-ge-varrrr"

and of course Grange Hill... the proper theme, not that new one that sounded like Cagney and Lacey.

Oh that's it, I've got that stuck in my head all week now...

I don't know about favourites, but theme tubes are so evocative. Starsky and Hutch, Kojak, Rockford Files, Cagney and Lacey, Taxi... Whenever they were on, they make me think of Saturday night. Mum cutting Dad's hair in front of the telly, crisp sandwiches for pre bedtime supper.

But then: Last of the Summer Wine. Sunday teatime, and that back-to-school feeling.


Original Dr Who, I like, and the David Tennant Era theme, but the latest version annoys me.
