Glen Moray isn't an Aldi whisky. You can get it in any supermarket round here. Its made in Elgin and is owned by the same people who own Glenlivit. If Aldi are selling it for £15 its a bit of a bargain
Your correct in saying that it is made in Elgin, but it isn't owned by Pernod Ricard who owns Glenlivet.
I tend to stick with the Islay malts but was bought a bottle of The Bladnoch which is a lowland and was pleasantly surprised have drunk a couple of bottles of it now well worth spending your pennies on.
Is it totally wrong to ask about vodka on a whisky thread? Any advice for choosing a bottle for a beginner vodka drinker. The recipient of this bottle is an established whisky drinker looking to branch out...
Asda have Glenmorangie at £30 for two bottles. I succumbed.
Morrisons doing Glenmorangie at 15 quid a bottle as well.
Favourite malt for me at the moment is Ardbeg
