Day off to do paperwork today. Got up looked at my shiny, clean Boardman in the hallway, looked out the window at rain and gale force winds...........felt guilty for not going out on it. When into garage looked at my Specialized Hardrock Comp MTB, that has been neglected for 3 years covered in dust, bird s***t, mud and chain oil....felt guilty again. Paperwork would have to wait. Spent the rest of the day cleaning the MTB, and it looks like new. Lubricated everything, chain looks metal coloured again, gears work, brakes work, suspension works, new batteries for Cateye.........must change those pedals though. Can't wait to get on it again. Looked outside, torrential rain, gale force winds, went inside, lit fire, sat on sofa..........felt guilty again......Misses came home asked how paperwork went, I said "fine, no problem",.....felt guilty again.......but quietly happy!
