More or less what I do, but I let the spuds cool down before putting them into a hot roasting tin. In my experience, King Edwards make the best roasties.

i can understand using the dripping for cooking.......within reason.....just not in a sarnie....yukk.....pure cholesterol
everything in moderation. The occasional piece of bread dipped in warm 'home made' beef dripping is unlikely to do much harm.... :thumbsup:
