Having got ready for work - put on uniform - before having lunch I was less than impressed when it started to throw it down. But, with the enthusiastic words of so many of you "it's only rain" ringing in my ears, I manned up and went to change. Put on my track pants and waterproof coat, shoved my work gear into the rucksack (remembering the need for dry underwear
) nipped to the loo and got out the bike.
Just in time for the sun to come out!!!
I was very hot and sweaty when I got to work, but glad of the change of trousers at least as I'd managed to splash through several puddles.
Coming home it was, amazingly, still sunny so I shoved my spare clothes into the rucksack and set off in my work gear.
One minute later the heavens opened and I got drenched.
I'm trying to see the funny side.
