I was responding to @Dec66

I can't remember the last time I ate a fig roll. Dried figs a bit gritty and dates are revolting on every level. Apricots and dried mango on the other hand...:hungry:

The OP has just bought bib shorts and is also talking about trying energy gels in another thread, I would suggest that if adding figs into the mix, he wears the bibs over the jersey for quick removal!
Vickster...........do you not listen??? I have the ones with a metal zip all along the necessary area. Problem solved

I think we always used to get Jacob's but I quite like all of them.

You could try this comparison -> http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com/biscuits/fig/

Aldi fig rolls, or Kroger, whichever I'm at.
Jaffa Cakes, I have to go to Aldi.
Our Aldi has just had a remodeling.
Still not nearly as much cycling stuff as you all have.

I eat Higates flapjacks from Home Bargains. 29p each for a 120g bar. They come in various flavours. Some have a layer of milk chocolate on top and some a white layer. My favourite is the cherry one. They have chunks of cherry in them! They are quite most too not like those fancy ones made from the contents of a budgie's cage!
