Cyclist behind was the only one who could see where both bikes were - his fault for riding into a closing gap
Whilst its not for everyone, I have to say....it's really not anywhere near as hardcore as many people think.Seeing this - including the first gap they all went through makes me very glad I don't cycle on city centre roads!!
Keeping up with cars doing 20 feels safer to me that having those doing 70 tearing past me.Personally, I really enjoy town riding...actually look forward for the opportunity.
Totally, plus it gives you an immense since of smoothness to be rolling WITH traffic as opposed being passed by it all the time.Keeping up with cars doing 20 feels safer to me that having those doing 70 tearing past me.
The slower rider seems to be meandering about all over the place in a daze, and the faster rider doesn't seem to be bothered by that, with inevitable consequences!
Had I known the scooter rider was going left I would have straight away gone for that gap on the right. But I had to be hesitant as he pissed about just in case some numpty shot up the inside like we saw.He did have Gaz in front so wouldn't be 100% sure how Gaz would handle the scooter and BMW that were turning left.
Essentially the ASL promotes this in cyclists as well.I agree with all that. It's that Must Get in Front thing, which apparently is very bad behaviour in car drivers but perfectly acceptable and understandable when cyclists do it.
