I've been feeling really festive up until now, but it seems to have all peaked too early. I had to listen to classic FM in the car to avoid the constant Christmas song barrage (which has been going on for a couple of weeks it seems). They've just put christmas music on in the office, so I've had to put my headphones in and listen to some Children of Bodom

Make sure they buy all the drinks!

Finished work until 2nd this morning. Got a little Christmas gift from my employer, I think @potsy might have missed out on his by finishing a couple of days early. (By the way Potsy, the rumours were true!)

They won't be - we're going somewhere else now. Said boss hasn't renewed a colleagues contract, and wasn't 'bothered' when another colleague has just resigned after 12 years - two long servers going. Rather not socialise with them.

...I am not a fan of Christmas, but thought I'd make an attempt at being festive for a change.

I am growing a Santa Claus beard, even got the grey to make it look authentic :snowball:

This is the longest I've ever lasted not shaving, usually got fed up by now ^_^

Anyone else struggle to get excited by the festive season?

For years and long after he’d retired one of the maintaince men at our hospital use to start mid summer growing his beard so when he was “helping” Santa on his Christmas Day visit to the children’s ward. Santa really did have a real bread.
