If only, I've got work tomorrow, at 0730. The weekend is a different matter though.
Maybe if I'm feeling reckless I'll open a bottle of Ginger Ale...
Absolutely right, I may have been guilty of some hyperbole there.
I'll just work on gaining experience for a year or so though: I'm very fortunate that where I work I'm with some very experienced and compassionate staffers so I learn a great deal just watching what they do...

What, for surviving me for two years?
I did make a slight mistake with my report: I wrote about 100 pages and I was only supposed to do 40. My Tutor told me today that I owed him two afternoons of his life that he wouldn't see again...
I'll probably stand him lunch where I work in a couple of months...

Good for you. I have a lot of respect for those who help those who are such difficult situations. I am always astonished by the people who hold addicts and the mentally ill in contempt, because it is a rare family that doesn't have a family member fighting those battles. My family certainly does.
