Started this 2 years ago , its been sat on a shelf in my workshop in bits waiting to be put together for 18 months, so i dusted it off put it together, realy pleased with the finish i brush painted it myself big mistake trying to get a good finish took forever, but learning from mistakes is no bad thing, i have rattle can sprayed 2 frames since way easier quicker and better finish, it is a very relaxed and layed back ride always puts a smile on my face

Looks very good indeed.I wouldn't worry about the paint finish. Its practical and can be refinished when you need to.
Love the colour and style.Suprising what can be achieved by us serial tinkerers.

I agree, it's a shade that really suits a vintage steel bike very well, especially with period touches like the night visibility section on the rear mudguard. Very similar colour scheme to my cheap & cheerful donated 3-speed, but a nicer quality bike than mine. It looks vastly better than when pictured in "as bought" condition.
