Long shot, but does right clicking on the black screen, where the video should be, give you options.

Or maybe you could reinstall Firefox

Consider yourself lucky. I got an ad for revlon

I remember a case of a guy (local Politician) who was campaigning because he was getting lots of ads for Asian girls in Chat rooms, dating sites and WebCams ... Entirely inappropriate and unacceptable

Then someone pointed out that most of these ads are personalised by your internet history!

The campaign seemed to die very quickly after that
