Had a spectacular spill today. Riding home in the the lovely Blackpool sun (Rain lots of it) thoght i'd cycle down the prom, just crossing the tracks when i spied a rudy big puddle (no not the sea) reacted to avoid it without thinking and front wheel lined up nicley with a tram track and slipped in...not good went over the hanlebars going about 16MPH...
Both hands now hurt (yes even as i type) knee is looking like it needs its own post code, grazzed my butt and as fautunatly as i was wering my helmet head is only a little shaken (helmet has nice graze in the plasic)
BIke came off quite well had to realigne the handle bars, but one of my pannier bags is buggered tore it in several places (no idea how that happened)
and to top it off stupid Transport work (female) shouted "well you shouldn't of been on the tracks anyway..." (god some people)
to which i replied "how the **** am i supposed to cross over them then "
Hope thats the last crash for a while misses is none to happy as i broke my right leg in two places last april and wont let me skate anymore, dont want to give up the Bike as well...
Sparky the clumsy...
