10 miles at 44 minutes is good for a commute. I'm assuming you had plenty of stops along the way for lights and traffic.

I'be been commuting for a good many years and my ride in yesterday (at 10 miles) was the same time as yours.

well done fantastic! I started doing my present job purely because I could cycle so to start with I mixed the bus and the bike and gradually I increased the cycling and ditched the bus. 10 years later I now cycle more, I have two brilliant bikes and have started entering sportives....I just love cycling espec this evening when it was like summer!!...and it was only 2 days ago that it was hail and sleet...the British climate amazing
