First day back!

I only got back in the saddle today since before Christmas!! Too much snow and ice in all the side roads until this weekend by me. I was too much of a wimp to try it out!

However, after a week on the bus (was away from the office on leave the rest of the time) it was really nice to be back!!

Am I the last one or were there any other wimps?!

No, I'm with you on this. I tried last Monday and got to work but left the bike there and rode it home Friday. Back on today and it felt great. Need to start shifting the Christmas pounds though!!

Still haven’t got back on! Had all the intentions in the world last night but woke up this morning and couldn’t be arsed at all! I’m seriously lacking in motivation and need a real kick up the backside!

I'm still waiting. Came off on some black ice just before the December drop of snow and knackered my shoulder. Now the snow's cleared and the shoulder is on the mend I've grabbed myself a nasty cold. Booo!

At the inlaws in sunny Stratford/Olympicville this weekend and a swear its the first time I've been jealous of London cyclists. There were plenty out criusing in the Sunday sun.

I live quite near there on the Hackney/Bow side though. There's some great off-road cycling round those parts. All the canals and the Lea Navigation, the Greenway and soon the cycle super-highway. Great to go out with the kids.
