In a rush this morning - had to be in early so I left early. Get 100 yards or so before I realise my rear wheel is flat. Went home and got the MTB and went to work on that.
Just struggled to change the tube now. First time on a 700x23c for me. Compared to an MTB it was bloody hard work. Took me ages to get the wheel off (and this was on a stand) and then ages to get the tyre off. Ages to get the tyre back on and ages to get it to 120 psi with my big pump at home. I reckon it took me longer to do that one wheel than it took me to do both on my MTB recently.
I dread the thought of doing that at the side of the road in the rain!
Any tips - surely it can't be that much harder than an MTB? Oh, and a decent workshop pump (not too dear) that'll go to 120psi.
