My average speed tends to drop in the dark which I'll have to work on.
Plus I need to get a couple of Hope 1s as my current one is having a few issues.
Sent it off to Hope, the'll fix it for you.

It's about 4 years old now. One of the connector pins inside fell out so I glued it back in place but with maybe a little too much glue. It's now a faff to turn off although it does eventually.Sent it off to Hope, the'll fix it for you.
Do the 2013 model still use the same battery thingy?
Perhaps a light that does this is not the brightest idea.Well it was interesting. The battery started to go on my brand new front Lezyne after about 45 mins so was annoyed about that. Evans have offered to look at it but it means sending it to them and I can't really be without it at the moment. Think I need another front light for the unlit cycle path. There's a stretch of about 100 yards through a wood and it was really spooky!
A rider came towards me, blinding me with a light I thought would suffice on the front of a train - I want one of those!

Do unto others.......Depends which side of it you're on!
Oh dear. Not working out well. Second night riding home in the dark, this time it's wet, ergo, I fell off. Going up a slight curb of maybe two inches (probably less) that I do every day but today the front tyre skids and down I go.
Not hurt but a bit despondent as a bit of moisture and lack of light = total loss of control.
