Sent it off to Hope, the'll fix it for you.
It's about 4 years old now. One of the connector pins inside fell out so I glued it back in place but with maybe a little too much glue. It's now a faff to turn off although it does eventually.

Going to put 2 black ones on my Xmas list.

Do the 2013 model still use the same battery thingy?

Oh dear. Not working out well. Second night riding home in the dark, this time it's wet, ergo, I fell off. Going up a slight curb of maybe two inches (probably less) that I do every day but today the front tyre skids and down I go.

Not hurt but a bit despondent as a bit of moisture and lack of light = total loss of control.

My first commute in the dark this winter tonight, its amazing how fast 20mph feels when you're under street lighting. It was a nice quiet routine commute, just how I like them.

Well it was interesting. The battery started to go on my brand new front Lezyne after about 45 mins so was annoyed about that. Evans have offered to look at it but it means sending it to them and I can't really be without it at the moment. Think I need another front light for the unlit cycle path. There's a stretch of about 100 yards through a wood and it was really spooky!

A rider came towards me, blinding me with a light I thought would suffice on the front of a train - I want one of those!
Perhaps a light that does this is not the brightest idea.

Depends which side of it you're on!

Been riding home from loonie-versity in the dark for a few weeks now as my lecture on Tuesdays finish at 8pm. Have the cateye volts front and back. Part of my route is unlit so it's nice to have a good front light.

Hugs

I have to be careful not to watch horror films. Last winter I had to ride late at night through long dirt paths (on my road bike) with crappy lights and scared the shoot out of myself.

I have to say I'm now quite enjoying my rides home in the dark. I have adjusted my route and have had proper mudguards fitted which makes a difference. The new Moon light is great and after a while you just get used to the dark and learn where the problematic bits are.

I love autumn riding (although it feels more wintery at the moment ) riding unlit paths/roads is great fun when you get to know the route. Less traffic for me if I'm on a late shift, it tends to be a lot quieter and often you see more wildlife.
