First time in 7 years

I commuted quite a bit in 2012 & 2013, but since then for various reasons I haven't. When things are "normal" my daughter swims every day and my son does various other things, so I provide a permanent taxi service..
Anyway I managed 2 days this week, 2 were wet and I pick up shopping on a Friday. It's just over 8 miles a day, which takes me
about 18 minutes each way, depending on traffic. Pretty flat too, so I don't get too sweaty
It's so much easier without school kids running around like headless kittens though

I always found it easier to incorporate the bike into day to day life when the kids were little, a combination of child seat and youngster on stabilisers worked a treat for day time entertainment as a stay at home dad. Now they have grown up a bit (a lot! 14 & 17......) I use my bike as default transport unless the car is unavoidable.
